Say What Now?
Today was Logan's 2 month check-up. Everything checked out great... he is a healthy boy! Oh, you want the weight and height stats now do ya? Well at his one month check-up he was 10 pounds, 10 oz. Today he was 15 pounds! Yes, that is the 98th percentile. For length, he is 22 1/4 inches... up 2 inches from last month. The nurse wanted to know what the heck I was feeding him because clearly he is starving.

Separate Yet One
By now I should be posting a 2 month check-up but that has been delayed due to numerous factors. Next week I will post the weight results but my money is on over 13 pounds....
In the meantime, Logan was crying yesterday what I thought was quite a bit... if he cries it is usually quickly remedied. It took me some time to realize that every time I left the room or was out of his sight in the room, he started to cry. I tested my theory by popping back in front of him and waving like mad. I was greeted with a coo, a stare, and/or smiles. My Mom reminded me of the "separate yet one" stage in development... where baby figures out that Mom is kinda sorta her own person and not just baby's personal Dairy Queen.
Do I have to say howcute adorable this stage is?

Birdie Bath
Logan loves the bath. Emmi cried screamed as a newborn in the bath. He will purse his little lips and crinkle his eyes shut and allow me to take the shower head and run warm water over his face.
His one month check-up was on December 23 and he was up to 10 pounds, 10 ounces and everything looked and sounded great. He is growing so fast.
